| San Francisco financal district, September 2004 Kim and Carnaval Sprit Drummers and Dancers paraded through 3 floors of the new McCann World Group headquarters in an opening ceremony and energetic cleansing of the new workspace of one of California's largest businesses.
EarthDance Festival, September 2004 Kim performed with Micky Hart and Planet Drum facilitating over 4500 drummers in the worlds largest drum circle for world peace at the annual Earthdance Festival, held simutaneously in several cities around the world and simulcast on the world wide web. Lazer Percussion Orchestra, December 2001 Kim MCd and facilitated drumming at a free outdoor public gathering in the town square of Sebastopol CA. The evening featured multiple lazer projections by Cherry Optical, Lazer Dreams and friends, Gongs by Nancy, fire pits and a drum circle. The entire event was offered as a prayer for World Peace and Unity. Day of the Dead, November 2001 Kim and his new project " Drummunity" presented their first public ritual honoring our revered ancestors, as well as all vitims of terrorism. Olympics 1996 Kim worked with Micky Hart, Zakir Hussein, Giovanni Hidalgo and others in recording music for the opening ceremonies of the 100th Olympics, broadcast world wide to over 3.5 billion viewers. Matanga Festival Santa Cruz, CA 1994. Kim performed with Master Djembe drummer Mamady Keita and 7 others at African music and dance extravganza welcoming Mamady to Santa Cruz. Harrah's Club, Reno section leader and performer with Escola Nova de Samba in 1989, 1990 and 1991 New Years Eve extravaganza. Men's Day 1988 and 1989, St. John's of Montclaire, Oakland CA. Accompany Poets and conduct musicians at annual gathering of 100 people to discuss Men's issues. Samba Ngo 1987, 1988. Forest Meadows Summer World Music Festival 1989, 1990, and 1992 San Rafael CA with "Brazilian Beat", Escola Nova de Samba and ToKenKi. Steve Kindler and Teja Bell. Numerous performances in San Francisco and Hawaii promoting ground breaking new age albums "Automatic Writing" and "Dolphin Smiles". Whole Life Expo San Francisco. Kim performed with 70 other percussionists, 30 horns and 100 dancers in halftime pageant of nationally televised football game. Neurolinguistic Programming, San Francisco CA 1987. Kim taught percussion and dance to 25 students of innovative mind/body discipline. "Mozambique" 1987, 1988, and 1989. Kim was Musical Director for dance company of 25 presenting original choreography in six city funded free outdoor concerts in Santa Cruz, California. Private Group Class.
